Driving Directions

We are located in South West Northumberland, on the A686 between Haydon Bridge and Alston. Travelling from the Haydon Bridge, after passing through the village of Whitfield on the A686, the Elk’s Head is on your left hand side just before the turning to Allendale. Travelling from Alston, after passing the road sign for Whitfield, you descend a steep bank, and then pass a church on your right. You will then  see the Elks Head on your right, just before you enter the village.
